Safehands Holidays were pipped to the post at the prestigious Royal Chartered Institute of Surveyors awards in Cardiff. The Esplanade Hotel in Llandudno was shortlisted for 2 categories, Renovation and Tourism and Leisure.

The Esplanade is a Grade 2 listed building, which has been restored, refurbished and remodelled to provide holiday accommodation, catering specifically for disabled people, their carers and family.

Paul Manning, Managing Director of Safehands, said ‘this was a challenging project for everyone concerned. We have succeeded in attaining a high standard of accommodation, whilst preserving it’s history and character. We were delighted that the project was highly commended by the judges in the tourism and leisure category, coming second only to the overall winner of the awards. Our architects, Croft Goode worked alongside our building team, Green Generation Builders, and helped us all to understand the challenges and recognise the true potential of the building’.
